Héctor Corrada Bravo

Associate Professor
3114f Biomolecular Sciences Building
301.405.2481
Education:
Ph.D., University of Wisconsin (Computer Science)
Research Interests:

Corrada Bravo studies statistical and machine learning methods for high-throughput genomic and epigenetic data analysis. This includes cancer epigenetics, biomarker discovery, pre-processing of measurements from high-throughput assays and disease risk models that integrate high-throughput data. He collaborates with epidemiologist O. Colin Stine at UMB, developing methods for large metagenomic disease association studies. Future collaborations could include clinical genomics, epigenetics (especially DNA methylation) and quantitative molecular imaging with light or electron microscopy.
